Origination Intern Application [Paid]

Reef Labs – Origination/Networking Internship (Summer 2025)

(June 2 – August 15 · remote‑friendly)

Jump into the fast lane of AI software development and learn how real deals get done—from the first handshake to a signed contract—while filling your personal network with founders, developers, and investors.

What you'll do

Learn the tech:

Week 1–2: Direct learning on AI fundamentals, large‑language models, and agentic AI workflows.
Ongoing: Attend the ISG AI Impact Summit and the MIT AI & Education Summit to see the latest tools in action (replacement events found for remote interns).

Master relationship‑building:

Craft a LinkedIn profile, build a 50‑prospect list, and refine outreach scripts.
Book weekly coffee chats with entrepreneurs and alumni to practice your pitch and expand your network.

Shadow the team, then dive into hands-on experience:

Sit in on discovery calls with our origination lead and project management lead.
By mid‑summer you'll co‑lead, then run calls—qualifying budgets, probing pain points, and steering conversations toward paid consultations.

Close business (and get paid for it):

Earn a fixed payout for every qualified discovery call you set up and commission on any project you help close.
Work side‑by‑side with developers to understand scoping, pricing, and proposal strategy.

Track your impact:

Keep a KPI dashboard of outreach, meetings, consultations booked, and revenue influenced.
Capstone: Design a prospect‑automation script or similar tool and demo it to the team.
